I Too Had A Love Story

I Too Had A Love Story
- By Ravinder Singh

'I too had a love story' is a true love story of Ravinder singh. It is a fiction debute novel. He happened to fall in love with a girl named Kushi, whose profile he found in shaadi.com. In no time he was deeply, madly and truly in love with her just by communicating with her through phone. He gets a chance to meet her and spend the most beautiful hour of his life before leaving to US for an onsite trip. After returning their parents fix their engagement on Feb 14th the Valentines Day. Just two days before their engagement she meets with an accident. Celebrated maxim says that it is better to have loved and lost than never loved at all. This novel proves the maxim true and beautifully depicts the beauty and power of true love through the writer's own heart touching love story.

It basically gives answers to Do love stories ever dies? can modern dat gadgets like mobile phones and the www era internet bring you the love of real life? You havent met her earlier, but commit to marry. Will you still call this a love marriage? And what if on the engagement day you pull the ring out from your pocket, you realise what you planned was just a dream which never come true? How would you react when a beautiful person comes into your life, becomes your most precious possession and then one day goes away from you forever. What will be the ending of this beautiful tale? Not all love stories are meant to have a perfect ending. Some stay incomplete. Yet they are beautiful in their own way. Ravins love story is one such innocent and beautiful story. he believes love stories seldom die. They are meant to stay for the generations yet to come and read them. And given that one chance to narrate his love story, this is how he began those for whom love is most beautiful feeling above human definitions and parameters the book will make an ever cherished experience.

The writer has summed up the essence of his story in the most appealing terms. The flow is so smooth that you never know when you started reading it and when you finished it. The time flies while reading this book.

The end of the story though it is tragic and really heart touching. While I’ve been to Ravin’s website I could see many praising him for being such a wonderful boy friend. In contrast, to popular opinion I will say that Khushi is a great lover who has made such an impact on Ravin. She gave him tremendous amount of love which has given a ray of hope for his future. All i would say if you are in love, then this is a book you must read. Reading this book is all more enjoyable as the reader relates and identifies with the writer. soft and light hearted humor strew throughout adds an entertainment quotient to the story. The writer tickles a funny bone as he talks about his paranoia when revealing his affair to his parents. the fact that the writer does not make any effort to impress the readers with lofty word and articulated point to the honesty of writer's feelings.

Why Men Fall Out of Love – What Every Women Needs To Understand

Why Men fall Our Of Love -
By Michael French

Why do men fall out of love? It's rarely a simple issue of attraction, sex, or money trouble. In this provocative no-holds-barred guide, Michael French brings unparalleled insight into the male psyche and reveals why so many men feel trapped, unhappy, or unfulfilled, and what women can do about it.

In the introduction to Why Men Fall Out of Love, author Michael French declares he's not a relationship expert but a man who has been asked some difficult relationship questions, (by a younger man) probably because he had been "successfully married for many years."

As the author pondered the questions posed, he discovered his own relationship might be in trouble. He sought out self-help books for answers to his own questions and found the number of good books wanting. Why Men Fall Out of Love was born to help men who were struggling with questions about love and relationships.

Based on interviews with men from all ages and walks of life this grippingly honest book illustrates why, when it comes to relationships, so many men feel "outgunned and outmatched" by women. Discover:

-The 4 relationship busters that lead couples to flounder and sink-the loss of intimacy / the quest for validation / the perfection impulse / the fading of attraction-and strategies for dealing with them head-on- Six key reasons why men fall out of love-from issues of identity, power, and fear to stereotypes about who they really are and what they want
- The truth about men and (mis)communication?and ways for them to open up
- Three questions a woman needs to ask a man before she becomes emotionally involved
- The Relationship Audit?how couples can figure out what is driving them apart and find ways to mend their relationship

French learned that men are molded by cultural myths and society's expectations. His research provided him with three basic questions women should ask a man before she becomes involved with him, several reasons why men fall out of love, communication information, four relationship busters, tips and techniques to steer a relationship back on course (located at the end of each section.) and a relationship audit. They reveals the hidden lives of men through his own story and that of nine other men. They discuss their wants, needs and deepest feeling about relationships
While Why Men Fall Out of Love may not provide all the answers and definitely is not the 'quick fix' that men and women yearn for, it is a road map for couples to begin looking inward as they address the status of their relationship and what can be done to help heal their relationship.

By finally bringing men's true feelings to the surface, Michael French offers a dramatic new approach to understanding men and their hidden emotions. This guide illuminates the deeper reasons why men fall out of love and, more important, shows how relationships can be healed.

Now That You' re Rich lets Fall In Love

Now That You're Rich Lets Fall In Love
- By Maanvi  Ahuja and Durjoy Datta

Now That You're Rich.. Lets Fall in Love is a beautiful fictional novel by duo young Indian authors Manvi Ahuja and Durjoy Datta.
This story is about 4 friends, their past, how they met under one roof in Investment Bank, the work pressure they had to face while working in an investment bank, how they balanced their personal life - their friendship which was their family, romance, love and their practical life - life in investment bank, high perks, sexy and hot colleagues, loads of work and recession.

It is different from the other love stories or stories about geeks from IIT which actually "is in" or the buzz now days. It is the story about friendship and love in corporate life. These friends are already in the big league earning 3 million a year and now they think is the time to fall in love, make friends, have fun, live life kingsize. But is it the right time to make friends, to fall in love, to romance, to have sex - in short to enjoy the life? Or was it the time for them to work for 15 -18 hours or even more, consider investment bank as their first home and go to their actual home just twice a week and in return face daily complaints, threats and what not from their seniors or from HR head only because girls did not agree to sleep with their horny boss and guys wanted to enjoy their life a little bit along with their work.

However after struggling and working nights and days, they somehow are able to manage their work as well as their friendship, but was it enough? May be yes or may be NO as something was waiting for them which they have never dreamt of - "RECESSION"

The story revolves around Abhi, Saurav, Garima and Shruti. Abhi was a topper in his college and was placed in MNC paying him good but not fat salary. All he wanted was to be rich and that’s why he joins The Silverman Finance an Investment Bank. He belongs to a poor family and was very shy to talk to any girl in his college, except with Riya.

Saurav was an IITian and his friends always used to pull his leg for being a virgin. He was fortunate not because he got placed in Silverman Finance but because his dad was a millionaire, strange isn't? Dad millionaire, then why IIT? And why Silverman Finance? Whatever!! Something must be there for him.

Garima a rich, beautiful and a single child whom any one would love to marry. She had a boyfriend. Very quiet not so social and very serious about her love. You will hardly find such girl now days, who is rich and serious about her love affair. She also got through Silverman Finance, thank god as she wanted some change in her life, but why a change is something which you find out as the story progresses.

Shruti a sexy, hot and charming lass, comes from a middle class family. Any one would fall for her; at least she would do wonders in bed. She was in love, something which her parents won't allow, actually her selfish parents won't allow. She belongs to a family where she never wished to stay even for a moment. Her parents want her to get married to some one who can give them money to fulfill their debts and they would never allowed Shruti to work. But when they heard that Shruti got placed in Silverman Finance and was paid 30 lacs a year, they made few calculations and allowed her to continue with the job till she get married.

They all met in Silverman Finance, their friendship began and as the days passed it started getting stronger and stronger. Some of them fall in love again and again!! But circumstances changed and Shruti had to do something which none of them could ever have imagined. They all were shocked and their trust broken, they could no longer understand each other. And they departed

It is a story about four over achieving nerds who land themselves in job that pays at a higher rate that they could think about spending.
But life isn’t all rosy as Abhi and Shruti grapple with ridiculously workaholic yet charming bosses in crisp suits hired right out of hell. Saurav doesn’t find the going easy either, as he struggles to make this way into the skirts of the incredible hot female colleagues. Garima on the other hand, aloof and distant, doesn’t give a shit. Things are fine as they get along but,  As they fall in love, sleep around with all the wrong people and recession threatens to take the company down, their bonds strain. Till one day, the very reason that got them together tears them apart, Money.
Hideous human resource managers picking on them, horny seniors looking down their cleavages, piles of workload, crazy shopping sprees, crates of beer and endless cups of coffee. Out from college and into the real world, how does it change them?
Love makes the world go round. But money buys the tickets.
Money? Love? In this age old battle what wins this time?
Based on real life stories and coffee break gossip.

Of Course I love You

Of course I love You....Till I Find Someone Better
By Durjoy Datta &Maanvi Ahuja

The first Novel By Durjoy Dutta and Manvi Ahuja. An engineers Life And Love Story. The book is full with slangs so people who are engineers can understand the Author's mind set. A book full with love and lust. Deb the main character or you can say hero of the story a Mechanical Engineering student in DCE. He has never taken his life seriously till he found her true love Avantika. He could not wish anything more than her. He is a wiry shirker, take things for granted but still have lot of good things which make girls go crazy about him. As for him girls make his world go round, everything else can wait.A book of worth reading. If You haven't Read this book Yet.Go And Grab It, I bet You will not get disappointed with it.

Coming to the story it is quite simple and well expected story from a guy who was just a fresh mechanical engineering graduate from a metropolitan city college in the year 2008. I felt it was a realistic story and quite acceptable to imagine that it would have happened from a guy like Deb, who is the hero of the story  Deb was a student from a Delhi arts college who was below average at studies but above average at finding or making merry. Deb always tries to find the best out of his girl friends and comes to a situation of saturation and finally finds his wanted love. Deb was a blogger during his college days where in which he express himself without any fear which ultimately helps in building his own/final career for his life as well as finding the way for his most loved girl friend.

I really enjoyed the last pages of this novel, especially Deb after coming out of his college and finding the real life without any of his GFs. The twists before the climax were very simple and light which anybody can expect at any point of time as like this climax. Though the mix of romance(Narrating Debs adventures behind the tinted car glasses, just on the regular park benches and also in the old college buildings ) added flavor to the title the original portrait of Deb's character was never overlooked which we can understand and agree by reaching the climax of the book. We will find the Deb like guys frequently in us or at least just around us in terms of running behind the beautiful ladies, helping his close friends in making their love success and finally finsing the truth after practical learnings of life and love towards parents etc. May be I missed some kinda things like alcohol, movies, girl friends in deed sex during my graduation and hence I was not able to enjoy the first few chapters of the book.

Finally this is a book which contains at least one coinciding incident from any engineering graduate life starting from his college life to his final career life. Of course I am not an exception there were many coincidences with my life as well. Though the last line of the books says like-
Imagination seldom runs wild, but when it does, you have a book. Still I continue to believe that this is something which happened between  Durjoy Datta & Maanvi Ahuja. Any way author itself agreed that it is somehow his story by mentioning "All most all those who knew me, now knew me better. Nothing more".

Once again congrats and thanks to both of these great authors who shared their happiness with readers.

Imagination is the best way to full fill our dreams, so to enjoy this book don't forget to imagine yourself. But always day dreaming is not good so be aware that it is just your imagination.

Secret The Power

Secret The Power
-By Rhonda Byrne

Rhonda Byrne follows up her international bestseller, The Secret, by taking the power of positive thinking beyond the Law of Attraction in her latest book, The Power. Whether you are looking for a little nudge to help you seize the moment, follow your passion, or lead a more joyful life, Rhonda encourages us to take control of our feelings and frequency so that we can become the architects of our lives.

Between The Secret and The Power, Rhonda focuses on the mental preparation needed to achieve our dream lives, but misses one critical component: hard work. Maybe her next book? If someone is trying to lose weight, imagining life at one's ideal weight is an important part of the process. Without making the commitment to eating healthier and incorporating consistent exercise into life, success will remain elusive, even for the most well-prepared mind.

If you are looking to reset your feelings and energy level, The Power will help you do just that. Some of my favorite inspirational quotes from The Power are captured below.

1. "Life is supposed to be fun! When you're having fun, you feel great and you receive great things! Having fun brings the life you want, and taking things too seriously brings a life you have to take seriously."

2. "Let go of the things you don't love about your childhood, and keep the things you love. Let go of the things you don't love about your adolescent and adult years, and keep the good things. Just keep the things you love about your whole life."

3. "When you're feeling joyful, you are giving joy, and you'll receive back joyful experiences, joyful situations, and joyful people, wherever you go. From the smallest experience of your favorite song playing on the radio to bigger experiences of receiving a pay raise -- all of the circumstances you experiences are the law of attraction responding to your feeling of joy."

4, "Life isn't happening to you; life is responding to you."

5. "Many people don't know about the power of good feelings, and so their feelings are reactions or responses to what happens to them. They have put their feelings on automatic pilot, instead of deliberately taking charge of them."

6. "Every single second is an opportunity to change your life, because in any moment you can change the way you feel."

7. "The difference between someone who is struggling and someone who has a fabulous life comes down to one thing -- love. Those who have a great life imagine what they love and want, and they feel the love of what's they're imagining more than other people."

8. "Whatever you can imagine is waiting for you, fully created in the invisible, and the way to make it visible is to harness the force of love by imagining and feeling what you love."

9. "Whatever is in your magnetic field is attracting to itself, and so the more love in your field, the more power you have to attract the things you love."

10. "The more love you give in your day-to-day life, the greater the magnetic power of love you have in the field around you, and everything you want will fall at your feet."

11."So how do you fall in love with life? The same way you fal in love with another person -- you adore everything about them! You fall in love with another person by seeing only love, hearing only love, speaking only love, and by feeling love with all your heart! And that is exactly how you use the ultimate power of love in love with life."

12. "You are the driver of your mind, so take charge and keep it busy with your instructions by telling it where you want it to go. Your mind only takes off on its own if you are not talling it what to do."

13. "When anything good happens to you in your day, give thanks. It doesn't matter how small it is, say thank you. When you get the perfect parking space, hear your favorite song on the radio, approach a light that turns green, or find an empty seat on the bus or train, say thank you. These are all good things that you are receiving from life."

14. "Your imagination is more real that then the world you see, because the world you see comes from what you imagine and believe! What you believe and feel to be true is what will be your life."

15. "Whatever story you tell, whether good or bad, will be the story of your life. So start telling the story of your amazing life, and the law of attraction must make sure you receive it."

16. "If you're not feeling good and you want to change the way you feel, or if you want to lift good feelings higher, then take a minute or two and god through a mental list of everything you love and adore. You can do it while getting dressed in the morning, walking, driving or traveling anywhere."

17. "What does it mean to be healthy? You may think that being healthy means that you are not sick, but being healthy is far more than that. If you feel okay, or average, or nothing much at all, you are not healthy."

18. "Being healthy is feeling the same way as little children feel. Little children are bursting with energy every day. Their bodies feel light and flexible; moving is effortless. They're light on their feet. Their minds are clear; they're happy, and free of worry and stress. They sleep deeply and peacefully every night, and they wake up feeling completely refreshed, as if with a brand-new body. They feel passionate and excited about every new day. Look at little children and you will see what being healthy really means. It is the way you used to feel, and it is the way you should still feel."

19. "Whatever you believe about your body, your cells believe too. They don't question anything you think, feel, or believe. In fact, they hear every thought, feeling, and belief you have."

20. "If you think or say, 'I always get jetlag when I travel,' your cells receive 'jetlag' as a command, and they must carry out your instructions. Think and feel that you have a weight problem, and your cells receive the order of a weight problem. They must follow your instructions and keep your body in an overweight condition."

21. "You are the ruler of a kingdom, and whatever you think and feel becomes the law of your kingdom -- the law within your body."

22. "Gratitude is the great multiplier, so say thank you for your health every single day."

23. "Before you eat food or drink water, look at what you're about to eat or drink and feel love and gratitude. Make sure your conversations are positive when you are sitting down to a meal."

24. "Remember it only takes giving love and good feelings a minimum of 51 percent of the tiem to reach the tipping point and change everything."

It is all about power. You are either in a state of power or a state without it. You will always work far better from a position of power than from the lack of it. Power is the ability to do or the capacity to act.

Awareness is power, the more you have it, the more power you have over every area of life. Perception is the key to solving all problems. Understanding the problem dissolves the problem.

Awareness is power because awareness gives you choice. Choice is an illusion created by those in control for those who are not. To be in control, you must know. You must understand how things work and know what is going on. You need awareness to make conscious choices.

Awareness is the first step, the second step is change. You should understand what you intend to change and the reasons behind it. Knowledge brings awareness therefore knowledge is power. All of life is a learning experience for you to become all you can be.

The opposite of fear is a sense of power. Fear is feeling powerless. When you feel powerful, you are fearless.

Fear is power being projected outside of us. If you belief you have no power over something, you become afraid it can harm you. Doubt is not believing in our power to create a desired outcome for a
Rhonda Byrne has reminded many of us to heed these truths and to think about them, once again. And how they can impact our lives every day, in significant ways.

One Night @ the Call Center

One Night @ the Call Center
- By Chetan Bhagat

One Night @ the Call Center or ON@CC is a novel written by Chetan Bhagat and first published in 2005. The novel revolves around a group of six call center employees working in Connexions call center in Gurgaon, Haryana. It takes place during the span of one night, in which all of the leading characters confront some aspect of themselves or their lives they would like to change. The story takes a dramatic and decisive turn through a literal deus ex machina, when the characters get a phone call from God.

Amongst the contemporary writers, who has earned a different name and made their distinction in the literal world is Chetan Bhagat. The novel One Night @ the Call Center deals with the problems in a call center and related problems, frustration, emotion and office politics in very fascinating manner. The novel revolves around a group of six call centeremployees working in Connections call center in the Delhi. It is filled with a lot of drama with unpleasant things happening to all of the leading characters. The story takes a dramatic and decisive turn when they get a phone call from God.

The story begins with a train journey from Kanpur to Delhi. During the journey, the author meets a very beautiful girl. The girl seems to be quite caring, demanding and very intelligent. She offers to tell the author a story on the condition that he has to make it into his second book. After a lot of hesitation, the author agrees. This description itself is so captivating and tempting that it immediately catches the imagination of the reader. At the end what happens to the girl that is a big mystery.

The author personifies himself with the hero of the novel. Claimed to be based on a true story, the author chooses a person named Shyam Mehra alias Sam Marcy as the protagonist, who is one among the six call center employees featuring in the novel. The remaining are Esha Singh (Eliza Singer), Radhika Jha (Regina Jones), Varun "Vroom" Malhotra (Victor Mell), Priyanka and Military Uncle. All of them belong to the same team and their manager is a person named Subhash Bakshi, who is the negative character in the novel. He is a very cunning with a very peculiar both physically and mentally and a very shrewd guy. The description of Bakshi was like something like a mini hippo with slick and slithering dark skin shining with oil and his habits are  atypical itself.

Shyam and Priyanka’s love story is so gripping that one can just visualize things like a film. Priyank’s proposed marriage with an NRI,, her bubbly talks with him leaving Shyam to utmost distress, Vroom and his feelings for Esha, Radhika’s unique dedication to her family and in-laws and last but not the least Military uncles agony, who fails to comply with the modern life and leads a lonesome life without his son and daughter-in –law ….the story just revolves around with a touch and go like description but still clarifies every thing. The whole plot is very intelligently conceived and crafted, I would say.

The last scene when they all, out of sheer frustration, were about to had a great fall, then they happened to listen the phone call from God. Or it’s their own inner voice….this was also a great mystery… When man literally confronts with death what will be his thought and what will be his state of mind …it is describes so beautifully that you just think and think. In reality life is like that, when one confronts with death, that time he really releases himself from the self made cocoon and rifts apart his mask and hears the real voice of his heart and mind….

The novel is a wonder. Language is very simple; thoughts are awesome and very very modern in its approach. The novel is really nice and it will leave with a feeling that modernity has got nothing to do with life’s philosophy. I don’t know whether it is a best seller or not but I will suggest everybody should read this, It is too good.

Five Point Someone

Five Point Someone
-By Chetan Bhagat

The story is about the college days of three students from IIT Delhi. Indian Institute of Technology or IIT is one of the premier institutes for Engineering and science in India, equivalent of MIT or Princeton. Only the best and the brilliant get in. A few 100s are chosen each year out of thousands of applicants. It is not only hard to get in but even harder to cope with the curriculum. Every IITian inspires awe and admiration from the student community. There are a few words you never associate with an IITian like losers, under performers, failures etc. This story is about just this kind of IITans who are at the bottom of their class and in the bad books of all their professors.

Let me introduce you to the protagonists of the story – The handsome, rich and brilliant, Ryan who is disillusioned with IIT system of education. He feels it offers no scope for innovation and judges people just on the basis of their ability of mug and conform. The fat and not-so-bright, Hari who is the narrator of the story. All he wants to do is be like Ryan and can never say “no” to him. The poor Alok who has a crippled father and a unmarried sister to support. He wanted to be an artist but decides to join the IIT because that is the only way he can get a good job and support his family.

Are you wondering about the title of the book? IIT uses a unique method of scoring students called Grade Point Average or GPA. The score one gets is based on the performance of the entire class (it is not an absolute score). The top performer would get somewhere in high 9 point something and the bottom performers would be in 5 point something. Such people are disdainfully referred to as 5pointers and thus the title of the book, Five Point Someone.

The story describes the ups and downs of their college life. Their low scores, the way they are perceived by students and professors on the account of their scores, their drinking habit, their strategy to beat the system and finally being caught stealing from their HODs cabin. What I liked about the book is that it does not try to justify or give excuses for all the wrong doings of the protagonist. They are far less than perfect people, yet you come to like them and there in I think, lies the greatness of the author. It is a very different kind of “coming of age” book; may not be in the same league as classics in this genre but definitely worth reading.

The convocation speech at the end effectively summarizes the message of this book – “This is my message to all the students as you find your future. One, believe in yourself, and don’t let a GPA or a performance review or promotion define you. There is more to life than these things – Your family, your friends, your internal desires and goals. And the grades you get in dealing with each of these areas will define you as a person.”

“Two, don’t judge people too quickly. It is great to get into IIT, but it is not the end of the world if you don’t. All of you should be proud of your IIT tag, but never ever judge anyone who is not from this institute-that alone can define the greatness of this institute”

“And lastly, don’t take yourself too seriously. Life is too short, enjoy yourself to the fullest. One of the best part of campus life is the friends you make. And make sure you make them for life. Yes, I have heard the stories. Sometimes I wish I had had a friend even if it meant lesser GPA”

3 Mistakes Of My Life

The 3 Mistakes Of My Life
-By Chetan Bhagat

What strikes you first about Chetan Bhagat’s novels is the fact that this author writes about Indians and for Indians. His characters are young, ambitious and passionate and have the same moral, social and religious dilemmas as many of the young Indians today. At the same time their context and sensibility too is unabashedly Indian. The new and the third Bhagat book, “The 3 mistakes of my life”, has all these qualities.

The setting is the city of Ahmedabad that though being urban is yet not as metropolitan as many of its metro counterparts. It retains its small town flavour in pols (colonies), traditional Indian households and small vegetarian eateries. It has the protagonist Govind with his passion and acumen for accounts and business, it has Ishan for whom cricket is the element around which his life revolves and it has Omi, a priest’s son and loyal friend who is ready for anything that his friends are game for.

The book is based on real life events. It begins in a dramatic enough fashion with Bhagat receiving an e-mail from Govind who had taken many sleeping pills and was writing to him while waiting for the deadly sleep’s embrace. Chetan was shaken enough by the incident to track the boy down to an Ahmedabad hospital. Fortunately he was still alive to tell the tale. The book is loosely based on the three mistakes Govind made in his life.
What follows is a mix of cricket, religion, business, love and friendship. Govind sets up a sports shop along with his friends in the temple compound with Omi’s family’s help. The shop prospers as Ishan coaches young boys in cricket and Govind teaches maths to Ishan’s sister Vidya who also captures his heart. Ishan then meets Ali, a child master with a hyper reflex condition that makes him hit each ball for a six. Ali displays the talent which Ishan never had and Ali’s destiny becomes his own.

Enter Omi’s Bitoo mama (maternal uncle), a communal party man bent on converting the young into fighters in the name of Hinduism. Situations come to a head and Ahmedabad burns in riot fires. Omi dies saving Ali and Ishan finds out about Vidya and Govind, a betrayal he does not forgive. These events lead Govind to his death-bed and that is when he writes the email to Bhagat.
Perhaps, this is the biggest compliment an author can receive. Its not when New York Times describes him as the biggest selling English language author in the country or when he crosses the coveted two million book sales’ figure, but when someone chooses to remember him in his last minutes, that makes a writer go beyond the ordinary. After all, isn’t the purpose of all writing is to touch someone’s heart?

“The 3 mistakes of my life” is written simply and has the quality that makes one want to read the book cover to cover in one sitting. The pricing of the book is just right for the target audience - young people. This book like Bhagat’s earlier one, “One night @ call centre, too has the masala, emotion and pace to turn into a potential blockbuster.

He gets 4 gold rings to propose the girls family ¸where they agree to accept the boy.

Now the chance for the tamilian girl comes, she comes and stays in Delhi in a guest house and often visited Krish. Krish mother never liked Ananya and his dad was not considered as a member of family. Ananya tried to please Krish mom and went along with them for Krish’s cousin wedding. She was liked there by all as she skilfully solved the dispute between the two families which occurred because of the dowry for car. When she resolved the case everyone from Krish family started liking her and in turn Krish mom gets ready to accept Ananya as her daughter-in-law.

Krish and Ananya gets accepted by the other’s family. Now they decide to bring both the families closer so they plan a trip to Goa. Where Krish takes his mom and Ananya brings hers family along. They travelled there together and stayed in same hotel. In spite of family sharing close bonds in between started sharing negative and rude remarks. Due to which Ananya and Krish gets apart. After this incidence they return back to their respective states.

Returning back to Delhi Krish tries a lot to contact Ananya but she refuses to talk with him. Even after trying a lot Krish fails in getting Ananya back, he gets shattered that he spends his nights googling ways to commit suicide.

A twist in the tale occurs and an unlikely suspect (krish dad gets to know that his son is not happy with what all happened in his love life. He decides to go to Chennai and apologizes for the rude remarks made by his wife.) manages to salvage the situation, which ends in Krish Malhotra, the Punjabi lad from Delhi getting married to the love of his life, Ananya Swaminathan from Chennai! Krish's very Punjabi family lands in Chennai for the typical South Indian wedding is the highlight of the book and will probably have you rolling in laughter!

There was a twist in the story at the end. You must read this book once to know what the lovers from different communities goes through to make their family ready. Chetan bhagat writing style include young and modern characters, bollywood-ish plots, proposal on knees , a love story and a twist in the story. All these elements are present in this book.

It is a very well written and extremely entertaining book. the story is very light hearted , casual yet had an intensity , depth and emotions to it, especially in the relation of the protagonist.
